Acting as the primary subcontractor for Ericsson, SIS Global took on the immense task of delivering Umniah’s first 5G network. This wasn’t just a technical installation; it was a nationwide logistical marathon.
Spanning Jordan’s Central, Northern, and Southern regions, SIS Global deployed more than 230 sites in [230], bringing reliable, high capacity 5G connectivity to Umniah’s growing subscriber base across the country.
This deployment reflects SIS Global’s ability to execute complex, large-scale infrastructure projects at a national level coordinating across diverse geographies and the high technical standards demanded by both Ericsson and Umniah.
The Exclusive Partnership: Looking Beyond the Build
The completion of the initial 5G network was only the beginning. The relationship between SIS Global and Umniah has since matured into a strategic alliance.
Since early 2025, SIS Global has served as the sole site acquisition service provider for Umniah’s network, managing the end-to-end process of identifying, securing, and preparing the physical locations that form the foundation of Jordan’s connected infrastructure.
Beyond construction, the two companies have solidified their future through a signed Telecom and Power Framework Agreement, a long-term commitment covering the ongoing deployment, maintenance, and energy management of telecom sites across the country, ensuring the network remains fast, resilient, and built to last.
